3-way bass-reflex loudspeaker with dual bass system

  • The flagship of the Quantum 720 range: Four loudspeaker chassis, meticulously tuned and coordinated for perfect sound reproduction
  • Generously dimensioned enclosure volume for a solid deep bass foundation and the highest quality components for precise, high-resolution reproduction
  • 30 mm fabric dome with special damping and ferrofluid cooling, wide surround and Harmonic Radiation Horn (HRH) made of aluminium
  • Three Klippel-optimized 170 mm chassis with ceramic-aluminium cone: 1 x woofer and 2 x subwoofers for maximum resilience and precision
  • Sturdy, rounded MDF enclosure with low-resonance 25 mm baffle in a silk-matt design and traverse system with height-adjustable spikes

3-way-bass reflex floor-standing loudspeaker with double bass

As the top model of the Quantum 720 range, the Quantum 727 is equipped with a total of four loudspeaker chassis. Two of the three 170 mm FE Dynamics woofers are responsible solely for the basses and, combined with the generously dimensioned enclosure volume, deliver a voluminous bass foundation, with the third one contributing precise voice reproduction. The drivers are Klippel-optimised and fitted with a ceramic-aluminium membrane. The treble range delivers fine resolution through a 30 mm HRH tweeter with fabric membrane, special damping and ferrofluid cooling. The components are accommodated in an elaborately braced MDF enclosure that is rounded at the sides and rear and has a particularly low-resonance design. The fabric cover on the silk-matt lacquered baffle is secured magnetically.

What do trade magazines say about this product?

High-quality chassis components

The FE Dynamics subwoofers and woofers with a size of 130mm and 170mm respectively are made of a ceramic-aluminium membrane. These harmonize perfectly with the 30 mm fabric tweeters of the range and deliver a very dynamic and transparent, spatial soundscape.

Strong and stable

An elaborately braced MDF enclosure and sturdy traverses with adjustable conical spikes form the foundation for a loudspeaker with outstanding sound qualities.

Acoustic giant

A total of four loudspeaker chassis are located in the enclosure, which is rounded at the sides and to the rear. The elaborate design with the 25 mm baffle and the traverses reliably prevents undesirable resonances.
